Middle School Pastor (full-time)
Reservoir Campus

Do you live to build God-centered evangelism and discipleship ministries for Middle School students? Are you passionate about developing strong, gospel-centered relationships with students and their families? Do you have significant experience in recruiting, developing and coaching servant leaders in a high-energy setting? Are you a high-capacity team player who loves to serve in partnership with others to help Middle School students learn from Christ, live for Christ, and lead others to Christ?

The position of Middle School Pastor for Pinelake Church’s Reservoir Campus is responsible for leading ongoing ministries to Middle School students, with the ultimate goal of transitioning them into high school as active, reproducing disciples.

If you are God’s man for this role, you will be an integral member of Pinelake’s Family Ministry Team with the specific responsibilities of enlisting and training servant leaders connected to the Middle School Ministry (in conjunction with the Middle School Minister); working with student worship planning and preparation; maintaining a presence on local school campuses including in-school visits, volunteering for school programs, and attending school events and Bible studies; and teaching and/or leading Sunday morning small group and midweek services as required.   

You should have at least a bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience in a Student Ministry of at least 200 students and 75 servant leaders. A master’s degree from an accredited seminary is preferred, as is experience in leading student worship teams.

 


Director of Facilities, Global (full-time)
Reservoir Campus, with Global Responsibilities

Pinelake Church has an immediate vacancy for an experienced, self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented Director of Facilities for Pinelake’s four campus facilities.

Specific responsibilities include developing and evaluating systems for all aspects of maintenance and housekeeping; establishing and monitoring metrics to ensure all essential duties are delivered at the highest level possible; developing plans to reduce energy consumption; managing multiple facilities projects; managing departmental budgets; and working closely with the Executive Pastor of Operations during seasons of new campus development to manage the construction budget and setup of new facilities. 

The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree plus 7 to 10 years of demonstrated work experience in facilities management at the Director level. Strong organizational, financial, project management, interpersonal, and management skills are required, and certification in facilities management (CFM) is desirable.

In addition, we are looking for a team player who is able to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends as needed) in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated and enthusiastic, is able to think and work independently, has sound judgment skills, is able to delegate effectively, and is proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook).

 


Copywriter (full-time)
Reservoir Campus

Pinelake Church values life-change for the glory of God, and we are looking for a gifted, experienced writer to help us tell the stories of how God is moving in the lives of our congregation.

The position of Copywriter is an integral member of Pinelake Church’s Communications Team and is responsible for researching, information gathering, and writing stories of life-change among members of the congregation of Pinelake, as well as communicating and promoting events, emphases, and testimonies through existing and future communication channels, such as worship guides, annual ministry reports, blogs, the church website, and others. 

You should have at least a bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, creative writing or a related field, plus a minimum of three years experience writing for print and online publications. Excellent English grammar and spelling usage are required, as is expertise in writing for social media, blogs, and other online communications.

In addition, you must be able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-heavy environment, and have the capacity to understand the big picture but give meticulous attention to detail—and find fulfillment in both. Fluency in Associated Press style is important, and knowledge of basic graphic design, page layout, web design and/or photography is a plus.

 


Graphic Designer (full-time)
Reservoir Campus

Pinelake Church is looking for a gifted, experienced graphic designer to produce compelling print and digital communications materials, including worship guides, announcement slides, web layout, web graphics, advertising, signage, booklets, brochures, logos, and other projects.

The position of Graphic Designer is an integral member of Pinelake Church’s Communications Team and is responsible for the concept, execution, and project management of graphic design, page layout, corporate branding, and photography projects.

You should have at least a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, commercial art, or a related field, plus a minimum of two years experience in a fast-paced professional graphic design studio or agency setting. Expertise is Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite is required, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

In addition, you must be able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-heavy environment and have significant understanding of print and digital production skills. Also essential are knowledge of four-color printing and experience in digital photography. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and copywriting experience is a plus.

 


Administrative Assistant, Operations (full-time)
Reservoir Campus

This position provides administrative support to the Executive Pastor of Operations as needed to fulfill the overall goals and objectives of the Ministry to include planning, organizing, scheduling, processing, and administering various chruch operations activities. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Entering, tracking and modifying all church-related events entered into the online calendaring system.
  • Tracking weekly events, ensuring meeting rooms are prepared, and posting meeting signs for all rooms.
  • Tracking vacation, conference, and trip related travel for the teams managed by the Executive Pastor of Operations.
  • Maintaining calendar and schedule for the Executive Pastor of Operations.
  • Capturing, disseminating and tracking action items from meetings attended by the Executive Pastor of Operations.
  • Preparing agendas for meetings attended by the Executive Pastor of Operations.
  • Tracking various projects on the agenda of the Executive Pastor of Operations.
  • Updating project tracking templates as assigned.
  • Updating appropriate staff of project progress.
  • Creating and managing all file folders.
  • Receiving, monitoring timeliness and delivering Elder and Finance Team reports to the Executive Pastor of Operations.
  • Conducting research and compiling reports as requested.
  • Preparing purchase orders, filing, faxing, copying, and other material preparations as assigned.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and two to five years of administrative experience.

 


Maintenance Associate (full-time)
Reservoir Campus

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented maintenance associate to perform routine maintenance and repair of campus facilities under the direction of the Director of Facilities, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with employees, church members, visitors, and vendors.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Completing routine maintenance service requests as assigned, such as replacing light bulbs, repairing doors and locks, replacing ceiling tiles, etc.
  • Surface prep and painting.
  • Moving furniture and equipment.
  • Opening clogged lines/drains, replacing washers and other minor parts, etc.
  • Repair walls and woodwork.
  • Pressure-wash walkways and buildings.
  • Complete make-ready process for events.
  • Grounds work as assigned, including trash/debris removal, sweeping/blowing parking lots, walkways, etc.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

 


Substitute Teachers for Mothers Morning Out (part-time)

Mothers Morning Out is looking for substitute teachers. No previous experience is required and all needed materials are provided by Pinelake. Mothers Morning Out is available from August through May of each year.

Associate Pastor, Adult Groups (full-time)

The position of Associate Pastor, Adult Groups for Pinelake Church’s Madison Campus is responsible for building an Acts 2 community by launching small groups and leading Guest/Member Services, with the goal of adults becoming both personally discipled and active, reproducing disciplers.

God’s man for this role will be an integral member of Pinelake’s Madison Campus Team with the specific responsibilities of developing and implementing strategies for attracting and connecting people to small groups; recruiting, developing, and expanding a volunteer structure for relational support and accountability; and coaching small group leaders through ongoing training.

Responsibilities as leader of Guest/Member Services include helping members find places of service on church ministry teams; encouraging small group and individual involvement on local, national, and global service opportunities; recruiting and training leaders to fulfill the goals of Guest/Member Services on Sundays, Wednesdays and other times as need; and working with Pinelake’s Global Guest/Member Services Team Leader to ensure that Pinelake’s DNA and systems are instilled in the team.  

The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in an adult group ministry setting, or an equivalent amount of education and experience.

The position of Pastor, Adult Groups for Pinelake Church’s Clinton Campus is responsible for building an Acts 2 community by launching small groups—primarily in the Clinton area—with the goal of adults and college students becoming both personally discipled and active, reproducing disciples.

If you are God’s man for this role, you will be an integral member of Pinelake’s Clinton Campus Team with the specific responsibilities of developing and implementing strategies for attracting and connecting people to small groups; actively recruiting, developing, and growing a volunteer structure that will allow for relational support and accountability; providing encouragement and direction for small group leaders; helping members find places of service on church ministry teams; preparing annual goals and objectives to fulfill Pinelake’s vision and initiatives; and preparing and managing the Adult Group Ministry budget.

A large portion of the role is to recruit (and work through) coaches and leaders who are passionate about developing believers who “Learn from Christ, Live for Christ and Lead others to Christ.” In addition, you will serve as the pastor for our Adult Group leaders; maintain accurate data on group participation and activities; collect, share, and celebrate small group stories of life-change; and have an intentional plan to grow in small group expertise.

Personal spiritual growth is central to Pinelake’s ministry philosophy, so it is expected that you have a vibrant and growing walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer and meditation; maintaining proper priorities in your home and, if married, being a spiritual leader to your spouse and children; attending seminars, workshops and other forms of continuing education as a means of self-development and growth; attending Wednesday evening Renewal services and at least one Sunday worship service each week; developing personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church; and practicing wise and faithful stewardship.
