I love this story! Some of your most faithful servants are gathered together praying for Peter’s deliverance and in the midst their prayers, you free him miraculously from the grasp of death and bring him right to their front door. You would think they would expect it, but instead they don’t answer the door because they don’t really believe it is him. I love this! This is me so many days God. I pray for something and you actually answer and I am so careful to receive it. Whether it is deliverance from a tough situation or healing from an issue or wound, you provide it even better than I was praying for (Eph 3:20) and I am scared to answer the door and receive it. Lord thank you for helping me see your power through this funny story. I love how you delivered Peter from an impossible situation and a sure death and set him free to continue to fulfill your purpose until you said it was time for his time to come to an end. You are in control. Help me remember that today. Thanks for humor and how I can laugh at how silly I am sometimes
