Don't Audit......Act

Don't Audit......Act

5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”-    John 2:5

The week after we heard a powerful word on the importance of obeying God and acting our faith, it wouldn’t be right to give you a lot to think on. Instead in the words of Jesus’ mother when talking to the servants who would watch Jesus turn water into wine, we simply want to say to you:

 Do whatever he tells you.

Regardless of who you are or where you are at in your faith development, my guess would be that God has recently been telling you something that you need to do. Maybe it’s to be more intentional about how you lead your family spiritually. Or to join a small group or volunteer team at Pinelake. Or to finally come clean about that sin that you’ve been trying desperately to keep hidden.

Whatever it is, the best thing you could do today would to begin doing something about it. Not think about it. Not talk about it. Not even pray about it. You don’t have to pray about something God has commanded you to do. You just have to obey it.

Don’t know where to start? Here are a few upcoming and ongoing opportunities at Pinelake that could set you on the right path.

  1. Shine. God has called us to seek the welfare of our city (Jeremiah 29:7). On Saturday, February 25, all Pinelake campuses will be joining together to serve our various communities. Click here (hyperlink: https://pinelake.ccbchurch.com/group_need_list.php?group_id=2467&show=&sort_request=next_available_date&sort_desc=1) to find out about specific opportunities you will have to serve that day and to sign up as part of the Madison/Ridgeland campus.
  2. Serving. Over the next two weeks and throughout the month of March we’re going to be calling on the people of the Madison/Ridgeland campus to begin serving on our volunteer teams as we make the transition to our new facility. If you would like to go ahead and get information about opportunities that are available, contact any one of our campus staff. 3. Foundations. God is calling many of you to be more intentional about your spiritual development. The best way to do that at Pinelake is through our one-on-one mentoring program, Foundations. To learn more about Foundations and how you can start it, click here. (Hyperlink: http://pinelake.org/foundations/)

Whether it’s the three opportunities above, or something else God has been telling you, just do it. And do it today.

Blessings,
