Sunday Worship Services

FAQ

We know you probably have questions so we’ve listed some information below that you may find helpful.

How will the church ensure social distancing protocols?

We have created multiple spaced-out venues for Worship across campuses, and trained our Guest Services team to oversee seating so that everyone has appropriate space between parties.

Do I need to pre-register?

No. Registration is no longer required for on campus worship or Next Gen Ministries.

Are we letting fewer people in the doors?

Due to the current physical distancing guidelines, we will cap off each campus once we reach 50% capacity.

Are we offering kids/student ministry?

Yes! All Little Lakers (preschool) and Next Gen Ministries are back on campus.

Click here to select your campus to see when Next Gen will be gathering.

What happens once I arrive?

Our guest services team will be placed at every entrance and exit, ready to guide you through a contactless experience.

  • Ushers will guide you to your seat to ensure appropriate space between you/your family and other guests.
  • We have created a Digital Worship Guide for you that is available through our Pinelake App. Click here to download the app today!
  • Greeters will be at each bathroom opening doors. We will have trash cans strategically placed inside the bathroom along with paper towels for your exit.
  • Drop-off kiosks for offerings will be visible and available near each exit.

How do we know that Pinelake staff and servant leaders are healthy?

All Servant Leaders and Pinelake Staff have been fully trained and will be screened for symptoms upon entering the building each Saturday/Sunday.

What steps are you taking to keep the facilities clean?

We are disinfecting our facilities using an aerosol disinfectant, wiping common touchpoints regularly.

  • All doors will be propped open to ensure you have a contactless experience.
  • Teams will disinfect/sanitize all auditoriums, venues, etc., in between each service with a sanitation fogger.

What precautions Is Pinelake taking?

To ensure that Pinelake is safe, secure, and spacious for your family, we are taking every precaution, and more, in accordance with our state’s guidelines. This includes asking our church family and all guests to wear a mask to all on campus gatherings.

If you have had any of the following symptoms this week, please worship with us online:

  • Contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 (in the past 14 days)
  • Cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat
  • Fever in the last 48 hours
  • Loss of taste of smell
  • Vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours

What about First Wednesday and Renewal?

We will have no mid-week services for the foreseeable future.

Will we still have camp this summer?

Unfortunately, our camp partners had to cancel their summers, including our weeks with them, because of Covid-19. We will miss camp, but we are still excited about a great summer of ministry ahead of us! As social distancing restrictions continue to loosen, our Student teams are looking at gathering all of our students together for different activities. Be on the lookout for announcements from them about alternative plans for this summer.

If I/my family needs food, can the church help?

Our Care Centers are open and ready to serve without an appointment. Find more info at pinelake.org/carecenter.

How do I join an online group?

You can join an online group today by visiting pinelake.org/groups to find a group for your campus and a time that best fits your schedule.

I’d like to talk to a pastor; how can I get in touch with someone?

We’re here to answer any questions you have or help with a need. Please visit pinelake.org/contactus to get in touch with us.
