We know you probably have other questions, and our leadership is prayerfully working through this just as you are but we’ve listed some information below that you may find helpful.
How will the church ensure social distancing protocols?
We have set up online registration for services so you can save your spot, created multiple spaced-out venues for Worship across campuses, and trained our Guest Services team to oversee seating so that everyone has appropriate space between parties.
Venue Options: We want to intentionally provide the best option to meet you where you are. No matter where you feel most comfortable, we have an option for you. Certain rooms will be designated as mask-optional and/or mask-friendly.
Are we letting fewer people in the doors?
Due to physical distancing, we are asking guests to save their seat by registering for the General Admission Service they plan to attend. We will cap off each campus once we reach 50% capacity, and all reserved seats will be released 5-10 min before the start of each service.
Are we offering kids/student ministry?
We want to bring our Next Gen ministries back through a phased approach, so we began with Little Lakers (preschool) only for our first few weeks back and require registration for each child. Beginning Sunday, July 12 all other Next Gen ministries will resume. Additional precautions in each ministry:
- Little Lakers
We will preprint the tags for parents that have registered and have them ready in alphabetical order on tables. Preschool will be one way in, one way out, clearly marked by directed pathways. Preschoolers who are not pre-registered will be directed to worship in the Auditorium with their family.
- Pinelake Kids
1st - 4th Grade
Please pre-register your children so we can honor social-distancing guidelines. Children who are not pre-registered will be directed to worship in the Auditorium with their family.
- Pinelake 56 Ministry
5th - 6th Grade
Please pre-register your student so we can honor social-distancing guidelines. Students who are not pre-registered will be directed to worship in the Auditorium with their family.
- Pinelake Students
Middle School | Wednesday, July 15
High School | Sunday, July 12
What happens once I arrive?
When you arrive, our guest services team will be placed at every entrance and exit, ready to guide you through a contactless experience.
- Ushers will guide you to your seat to ensure appropriate space between you/your family and other guests.
- We have created a Digital Worship Guide for you that is available through our Pinelake App. Click here to download the app today!
- Greeters will be at each bathroom opening doors. We will have trash cans strategically placed inside the bathroom along with paper towels for your exit.
- Drop-off kiosks for offerings will be visible and available near each exit.
How do we know that Pinelake staff and servant leaders are healthy?
All Servant Leaders and Pinelake Staff have been fully trained and will be screened for symptoms upon entering the building each Saturday/Sunday.
What steps are you taking to keep the facilities clean?
We are disinfecting our facilities using an aerosol disinfectant, wiping common touchpoints regularly…. Turn off and mark all water fountains “do not use”.
- All doors will be propped open to ensure you have a contactless experience.
- Teams will disinfect/sanitize all auditoriums, venues, etc., in between each service with a sanitation fogger.
What precautions Is Pinelake taking?
To ensure that Pinelake is safe, secure, and spacious for your family, we are taking every precaution, and more, in accordance with our state’s guidelines.
If you have had any of the following symptoms this week, please worship with us online:
- Contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 (in the past 14 days)
- Cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat
- Fever in the last 48 hours
- Loss of taste of smell
- Vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours
What about First Wednesday and Renewal?
We will have no mid-week services for the foreseeable future.
Will we still have camp this summer?
Unfortunately, our camp partners had to cancel their summers, including our weeks with them, because of Covid-19. We will miss camp, but we are still excited about a great summer of ministry ahead of us! As social distancing restrictions continue to loosen, our Student teams are looking at gathering all of our students together for different activities. Be on the lookout for announcements from them about alternative plans for this summer.
Are we still sending teams out on mission trips?
All short-term mission trips through June have been canceled.
If I/my family needs food, can the church help?
