Leaving a Lasting Impact

“Most leaders are trying to figure out the right strategy. The best leaders are obsessed with empowering the right people.” - Craig Groeschel

Here at Pinelake, we believe that serving not only impacts the lives of those you serve but who you empower can impact your own life. Take it from our friend, Lindsey!

Lindsey Simmons serves in our 56 ministry weekly at our Reservoir Campus. About eight years ago, she started out leading a small group with about 15-20 six grade girls. Of course, she’s absolutely made a mark in these girls lives but little did she know these girls would change her whole world. From starting middle school and finishing high school, Lindsey got the chance to lead them all the way through their next gen years.
Lindsey says they have been as important to her faith life as she has to theirs. When Lindsey adopted her first child, her small group was praying for them and showing up to help meet a need. When her mom was battling cancer, they were praying alongside their family. One of the most rewarding things has been to watch as those, once six grade girls, have now started college and serve in 56 ministry alongside Lindsey. Because of Lindsey’s obedience to serve the House, future generations will be impacted.

Your story matters. Your testimony carries impact. You don't have to be perfect or have it all together, you just have to say yes and watch God do the rest.
