Love First 2024

Convoy of Hope is a global, faith-based organization that serves vulnerable communities. Convoy of Hope has been serving vulnerable communities since 1994, and they have shared the love of Jesus with over 250 million people.

This year, Pinelake is partnering with Convoy of Hope to help those who need it most. We’re working together to bring food security, empower women and change communities in Colombia, Niger, and Tanzania.

Convoy helps farmers assess resources like soil and climate to improve crop yields. By building resilience, thriving farmers can feed their families and support their communities, leading to lasting transformation.

Women play a vital role in their families and communities, which is why Convoy focuses on empowering them for economic stability and food security. Empowering women helps break the cycle of generational poverty as they reinvest in their families and local economies.

Convoy of Hope works with communities to create sustainable change. It’s so much more than a financial investment; it’s a way to help break cycles of poverty, build a secure foundation, and help communities thrive. By partnering with Convoy, we can deliver hope to generations to come.

Loving The Overlooked

Colombia

Of the almost 50 million people who live in Colombia, more than 8 million have been displaced due to civil unrest, and 35% of the population lives in poverty. Colombia has long dealt with conflict, resulting in gender violence, illicit economies, and land grabbing.

We can help bring change with our gifts. Your support will:

Train and equip 450+ farmers: $28,320
Provide business skills and training for 110+ women: $24,500

Niger

Niger is one of the poorest nations in the world with nearly half of its 22 million people living impoverished. Many face severe drought and food insecurity in a region where it can be difficult to grow crops.

We can help them learn to thrive in a tough area. Your support will:

Train and equip 200 farmers: $17,700
Provide business skills and training for 110 women: $17,700

Tanzania

The Tanzanian economy depends on agriculture. While the country produces enough food to feed its population, the poorest families have very limited access to it. This often leads to severe malnutrition and anemia.

We can help them learn to thrive in a tough area. Your support will:

Train and equip 400 farmers: $104,000
Provide business skills and training for 400+ women: $88,800
