At Pinelake we celebrate the opportunity to give back a portion of what God gives us. As a result, giving provides important resources needed to execute our ministry plans to see Mississippi changed one life change story at a time.
Give at the Speed of Tap
Since many people no longer carry cash or a checkbook, we wanted to make it work with how most of us run our lives — from our smartphones. Just text “Give” to 575-55, download the Pinelake App or give online. The first time you give, set up your secure account, and from then on, you’ll be zipping along. Whether you use the web or the app, you’ll use the same log-in.
Why Should We Give?
Your faithful giving supports the work of Pinelake in sharing the life-changing message of Jesus through missions, community outreach, care and support, church planting and discipleship.
- Every believer should prayerfully consider the biblical guideline of the tithe (10 percent of income) as a helpful starting point for learning how to give. (Genesis 14:18–20; Malachi 3:8–10; Matthew 23:23)
- Every believer can give biblically, regardless of income. The amount is not as important as the heart as one gives regularly, proportionally, generously, sacrificially and cheerfully. (Matthew 6:21; 1 Corinthians 16:1–2; 2 Corinthians 9)
- Every believer has a responsibility to support his or her home church financially. (Malachi 3:8–10; 1 Corinthians 9:7–12; 1 Timothy 5:17–18)
- Every healthy church will go through seasons of sacrificial giving, above and beyond regular tithing, to provide for special needs and opportunities. (Exodus 35:4–36:7; Acts 11:27-30)
Beyond the Tithe
“Beyond the tithe” is anything you give beyond 10%. In Malachi 3:10, God challenges us to try to out-give Him. Beyond the tithe is a chance for you to be extravagantly generous.

Pinelake is audited annually by the CPA firm of GranthamPoole, PLLC. Additionally, Pinelake Church’s Finance Team and Elder Team provide oversight to Pinelake’s financial resources.
