Sunday, July 4

At just twenty-two years of age, Bob became the pastor of Southeast Christian Church.  That small congregation of 120 members became one of the largest churches in America, with 18,000 people attending the three worship services every weekend in 2006 when Bob retired.   Now through Bob Russell Ministries, Bob continues to preach at churches and conferences throughout the United States, provide guidance for church leadership,  mentor other ministers, and author Bible study videos for use in small groups.  An accomplished author, Bob has written over one dozen books.  His latest book, “After 50 Years of Ministry: 7 Things I Would Do the Same and 7 Things I Would Do Differently,” was released in the summer of 2016 from Moody Publishers.

Ted Cunningham is the founding pastor of Woodland Hills Family Church in Branson, Missouri.  He and his wife, Amy, have been married for over 20 years and have two children, Corynn and Carson.  He is the author of Fun Loving YouTrophy Child, andYoung and In Love and coauthor of four books with Dr. Gary Smalley including The Language of Sex and From Anger to Intimacy.  His most recent release is A Love That Laughs.  He is a comedian on the Date Night Comedy Tour and a frequent conference speaker at churches and events across the country.  Ted is a graduate of Liberty University and Dallas Theological Seminary.

Atheist-turned-Christian Lee Strobel is the former award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune and best-selling author of more than twenty books. His classic, The Case for Christ, is a perennial favorite which details his conversion to Christianity. His recent release, The Case for Grace, won the 2016 Nonfiction Book of the Year from the EPCA. For the last twenty-five years, his life’s work has been to share the evidence that supports the truth and claims of Christianity and to equip believers to share their faith with the people they know and love.

Chuck Angel has served as a senior pastor for 30 years and is currently the senior pastor of Turning Point Church in Lubbock, TX.  Turning Point is a great church with a strong reputation of influence in their city and across West Texas. Chuck is a graduate of Southwestern Theological Seminary and The Kings Seminary. He’s been married to his wife Jill for 32 years with four adult children and a die-hard Arkansas razorback fan.
