Christmas at Pinelake
A Season to Slow Down & Listen Again
Every December, familiar carols fill our homes, neighborhoods, and sanctuaries. We sing along without thinking, letting the words fade into the background.
But hidden inside those well-worn lyrics is a story too rich, too beautiful, and too life-changing to miss.
This Christmas, we’re slowing down to listen again…not just with our ears but with our hearts. Each week, through hymns like Hark the Herald Angels Sing, O Little Town of Bethlehem, and Angels We Have Heard on High, we’ll rediscover the gospel woven into their words: the humility of Jesus, the wonder of His arrival, and the hope His birth brings to the world.
And on Christmas Eve, we’ll gather as one church for a special candlelight service celebrating The First Noel—the good news that God’s love has come for all people.
Because when you know the words, you know the wonder.

Resources for Families
This season, we want to come alongside you with simple, meaningful ways to center your home on Christ. Our digital Family Advent Calendar is designed with age-appropriate prompts for preschoolers through students-short daily moments that turn hearts toward Jesus as Christmas approaches.
And for families planning to take Communion on Christmas Eve, we’ve created a helpful guide to walk you through leading your child in this sacred moment. Whether you’re at home or in a service, you’ll find clear steps and biblical encouragement to make it a moment of worship, not worry.
