Building Hope for Rolling Fork

We are excited for you to join us as we continue to serve the community of Rolling Fork, MS! Individuals and families from each of our Pinelake campuses will work together to help assemble frames for houses that are being built in Rolling Fork, MS. This will be a two-day event held at the Pinelake Madison Campus on November 10th – 11th. Below is the information you will need as you register.

This is open to all Pinelake campuses! 

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 10, 2023 | PREP DAY
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (lunch provided)
We will be cutting and preparing materials prior to the build day. Some skill is needed to measure and cut lumber for some, but not all volunteers. (If you are interested in using an electric saw you will need to be able to measure and cut accurately within 1/16 inch.) 

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 11, 2023 | ASSEMBLY DAY
We will be working with hundreds of volunteers from each of our campuses to frame out houses that will be constructed in Rolling Fork, MS! There will be two crews that you can sign up to serve with. One crew from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and one from 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. You will be placed in teams where a crew leader will give specific instructions on the project you will be working on. All ages 8 years old and up are welcome to join! We will have plenty of age-appropriate opportunities so everyone can be involved! 

Station Team Leaders Needed! (Framing Experience Required – 25 years and older)
If you are willing to be a crew leader, WE NEED YOU! There will be a mandatory training that all Station Team Leaders will have to attend. You will be leading a crew of around 6 volunteers on the assembly day. Time commitment is 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the assembly day.
