Small Groups

To grow spiritually, you have to be connected relationally.

At Pinelake, we desire to see Mississippi changed One Life Change Story at a time, and we believe small groups are a place where people have the opportunity to pursue authentic community and spiritual growth. When you join a small group, you will spend time socializing, learning, and praying together. All you have to do is show up, join in, and be real.

General Questions

What are small groups all about?

Pinelake Small Groups are about community. They’re environments for you to grow in your walk with Christ, to build relationships with others, to be cared for and to use your spiritual gifts. Small Groups set us up to do life together and grow in our faith.

So, what do they look like?

Small groups are typically around six to ten people — in a similar stage of life or with a common interest — who gather together once a week in homes, local restaurants or other places in the community. You’ll share what God is teaching you through the L3 reading and the weekly sermon, challenge each other to dig deeper in God’s Word and pray for each other.

What types of groups are there?

We have Adult Small Groups for men, women and couples, and there are also College Small Groups.

How do I join a small group?

We desire to see you grow closer to Christ and find others to walk alongside you to help challenge and encourage you. We try to make joining a group simple. Want to talk to someone about a group that best fits your life and schedule now? Click Here to contact the Small Groups team at your campus.
